General Motors revealed today the GMC Hummer Ev, its first electric pick-up. Surprisingly, the vehicle has a 350+ mile range, 3 motors with 1,000 HP, and up to 11.500 lb-ft of torque. According to General Motors, it’ll accelerate 0-60 in approximately 3 seconds, the same as Tesla Cybertruck. The “beast” is set to be available in late 2021 and the starting price will be $112,595. *UPDATE* Reservations are full.
The Hummer brand long stood for large vehicles and they didn’t really give up this, the newest Hummer is huge.
Let’s start with the interior. Inside, a 13.4-inch diagonal color touchscreen covers up a large part of the dashboard while a 12.3-inch screen stays in the front of the driver. The truck will come with premium, technical interior materials as the GM claims: “Its cabin was designed with an unprecedented combination of innovation and luxury in mind”. The Bose 14-speaker audio system creates a magical acoustical experience in the Ev cabin. The truck comes with Transparent Sky Panels which can be stacked in the front of the car easily.
GM also claims that the Hummer Ev will have fast-charges capabilities and an estimated range at 350 miles on a full charge. The battery pack is capable of connecting to an 800-volt DC charging system that will be able to charge almost 100 miles range in just 10 minutes.
The car comes stock with 35-inch tires and is capable of 37-inch tires like Cyber Truck.
You could order the Hummer Ev with up to 18 cameras, including under the vehicle cameras that help it with ground clearance.
GM said that they offer the latest version of Super Cruise on the Hummer Ev, which offers hands-free driving and automatic lane changing on more than 200,000 miles of compatible roads and growing.

Hummer Ev 3x will be available in fall 2022, at a starting price of $99.995. It’ll be powered by 3 motors, 800hp/9,500 lb-ft torque, and an estimated 300+ mile range.
Hummer Ev 2s will be available in spring 2023, at a starting price of $89.995. It’ll be powered by 2 motors, 625hp/7,400 lb-ft torque, and an estimated 300+ mile range.
Hummer Ev 2 will be available in spring 2024, at a starting price of $79.995. It’ll be powered by 2 motors, 625hp/7,400 lb-ft torque, and an estimated 250+ mile range.
