The difference between WWW and Internet
The World Wide Web or WWW is a system of interlinked hypertext documents accessed via the Internet. A collection of web pages that belong to a specific URL is called a website (e.g. www.kboomtech.com, www.kboomcars.com, or www.google.com). This multimedia document system allows users to view, create and share information on computers all over the world.
The Web was invented by Tim Berners-Lee, an English computer scientist, initially conceived as a document management system. WorldWideWeb, later renamed Nexus, is the first web page and also a web page editor, with an initial launch date of 25 December 1990.
So, how does it work?
To understand how the internet works, you must first understand what a computer is. Computers are machines that receive, store, and process data electronically. This data can be anything from characters that form words or sentences, to images, graphics, and even audio files. Virtually any place on earth with access to electricity can have access to the internet.
The internet is a global network made up of many smaller networks called ISPs. It works through an addressing scheme that allows any device to find any other device on the internet. The key to this addressing scheme is an IP (Internet Protocol) address, which functions much like a street address for your home or business. When you click on a link on your web browser, it gets translated to an IP address that tells your computer where to send the data being requested by that site.
TCP (Transport Control Protocol) is used to manage data in a way that provides secure transmission between server and client. The same process happens when you want to download something from the internet: your computer contacts another computer and asks for that file, which is then sent to your computer over the internet.”

How Many People Use the Internet?
The amount of internet users globally has skyrocketed in the past decade. This is because the cost of owning a computer has gone down, and the internet is more accessible than ever before.
It is estimated that over 5 billion people use the internet worldwide, making up approximately 60% of the world’s population. Of this total, 4.7 billion, or 59% of the world’s population, are social media users, according to a survey released in July 2022 by Statista. In the early 1900s, Nikola Tesla was hard at work on his inventions. Among them, he believed that if you gave enough power, a wireless system would be possible that would allow him to transmit messages to the world without the use of wires.
Guglielmo Marconi stole his thunder in 1901 when he achieved the world’s first transatlantic radio transmission by transmitting the letter “S” from England to Canada using the Morse code.
These are mankind’s first attempts at finding a wireless system that, since that time, was believed to change the world.
Who Invented the Internet?
The Internet was invented by Vint Cerf and Bob Kahn, who published the first paper describing their work in 1974. The article was titled “A Transmission Control Program for Packet Broadcast Networks”.
Before that, another attempt was made in 1969 by two UCLA research teams. Although the system crashed during the attempt, the researchers, led by Leonard Kleinrock, managed to create the first two-node network.
It led to the development of the Internet and has influenced many areas of civilization, as well as our world today.

Internet lag is the term used to describe the delay between the time that you send data, and when it actually reaches its target. The latency of the internet connection can get bad enough to have a noticeable impact on gaming and streaming video.
Internet speeds vary and can slow down due to a number of factors. This can be caused by a slow internet speed at your location, or outside of your control such as congestion on the internet due to multiple users attempting to access the same website at once.
